1 Pack of Humuplus: to be mixed in 200ltrs (1drum) of water, covers 1/2 hectare of land....
NOTE: All instructions given are based on a 1-hectare land measurement.
Unang Lagay / Land Preparation:
Sa araw ng pagtatanim.
§ I-spray sa lupa pagkatapos gumawa ng tudling at bago ilagay ang binhi at pataba. (Use 2 pack of Humusplus, mixed with 400ltrs non-chlorinated water, spray on a 1-hectare land.)
Ikalawang Lagay / Mix 2 Humusplus Packs with your Fertilizer):
Following your normal protocol, during your 2nd fertilization:
§ If you are using granulated fertilizer, mix this with 2 packs Humusplus, and, spread out / embed in a 1-hectare lang.
§ If you are using liquid fertilizer, spray your fertilizer first, then followed by Humusplus solution. Ration is 1:100. (2 Humusplus to be mixed with 400ltrs (2 Drum) non-chlorinated water, to be sprayed on 1-hectare of land.)
Ikatlong Lagay: (Optional. Planters are the best judge whether their crop field is ok or needs more input due to several factors.)
Kahit kailan. I-spray and Humusplus Solution sa lupa lalo na kapag sinisira ng army worms ang pananim.
If the planter sees the need to have additional input:

Arsenal’s two largest shareholders are now worth more than twice as much as Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, according to new figures from Forbes.
The American business magazine has published its 2017 list of the world’s richest men and Gunners duo Alisher Usmanov and Stan Kroenke both feature.
Usmanov, who owns 30 per cent of the club but is not on the board, has seen his net worth grow by more than £2billion in the last 12 months.
The Russian was once ranked as his country’s wealthiest man now has a personal fortune valued at £12.3billion, the new figures claim.

That number is significantly higher than Abramovich’s estate, which comes in at slightly under £7.4billion, and majority owner Kroenke’s £6.4billion.

Contact center sector sees $20.4B revenue by 2022 0

THE contact center sector—a part of customer relations management— expects to generate revenue of $20.4 billion by 2022 with a projected annual growth of 8.2 percent over the next six years, an industry official said on Thursday.
“It is projected to grow year-on-year at 8.2 percent between 2016 and 2022, or up to about $20.4 billion by year 2022, and may surpass the overseas Filipino workers sector as the biggest dollar generator for the country,” Benedict Hernandez, Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) chairman of the board, said at a press conference.
“This projection is seen as the global offshore services market continues to expand and demand from companies goes on the upswing,” Hernandez added.
On US President Donald Trump’s threat to bring back jobs to the US, Hernandez said that right now, in terms of direct impact on the Philippines, “we have not really seen any material impact with the way our clients are working with us.”
Hernandez added: “When you think about the numbers that we put up, we took the conservative growth scenario, so those numbers that we have is actually our conservative estimate.”
The contact center industry also continues to prepare to meet head-on more complex jobs that require critical thinking and specialized skills that require adapting to higher-level technologies and work even on multiple channels and platforms.
“We are adding over 100,000 jobs a year from now to 2022 to get to about 1.9 million jobs,” Hernandez said.
According to the CCAP website, the contact center sector is the largest of six sub-sectors of the information technology-business process management (IT-BPM) industry. The other five are animation, game development, health information management, software and captive in-house centers. The whole IT-BPM industry projects to generate $39 billion in revenues by 2022.
According to CCAP, the contact center industry remains an attractive employment option both in Metro Manila and provincial areas. The sector helps other secondary and tertiary cities develop their respective local economies while helping decongest major metropolitan areas such as Metro Manila and Cebu.
CCAP also said that as long as one is qualified, contact centers provide employment for the country’s large labor market regardless of gender or sexual preference, age, physical capabilities, or educational background.
Contact centers have about a 50/50 ratio for men and women for both staff and executives, which are among the highest, if not the highest, in the world.
The industry also employs senior citizens and the differently-abled, all holding various roles from rank and file to supervisory and managerial level, thus making it a true champion and effective role model when it comes to diversity in the workplace.
Meanwhile, CCAP said that in terms of emerging growth areas, the banking, insurance and healthcare sectors and others that require more complex back-office services will help further propel the industry.
“This is most welcome as the industry prepares itself to be even more competitive in terms of costs and available talent quality, plus its vaunted service-oriented culture that continues to delight clients around the world,” CCAP said.

The iconic jeepney is a true testament to Filipino ingenuity. In fact, it’s one of those images that the country is identified with.
Jeepneys are actually U.S. military jeeps that were left in the country after World War II. When the American soldiers started to leave the Philippines after the war, Harry Stonehill was reportedly responsible for getting rid of the surplus by selling it in the black market. Filipinos then stripped the jeeps depending on the local needs and turned them into makeshift buses.
For instance, the country’s tropical weather can make the sun’s rays intense during the afternoon so they added a metal roof for shade. And since Filipinos are communal, they also reconfigured the back to fit a pair of parallel benches, which allowed the vehicle to fit more people inside.
Many say that jeeps are the main cause of pollution in the country today. Despite this, it’s still one of the enduring icons that is easily identified as proudly “Filipino”.

E-jeepneys are like standard jeepneys, with the only difference that it runs on electricity instead of diesel fuel. These vehicles are the brainchild of Green Renewable Independent Power Producers (GRIPP), and in partnership with Solar Electric Company.
E-jeepneys don’t create noise nor do they emit excessive carbon dioxide that jeepneys are known for. Many advocates say that it will not only help preserve the environment, but will also lessen our dependence on oil.

Most home cooks pay close attention to internal temperature when cooking a steak, where we know just 5 degrees means the difference between rare and medium-rare. But few people pay that much attention when dealing with fish. Which is too bad, because even fatty fish like salmon can go from tender and moist to chalky and dry in a flash. In the test kitchen we use an instant-read digital thermometer to tell when salmon is done and we’ve always preferred it cooked 125 degrees for the ideal balance of firm, yet silky, flesh. The majority of the salmon we cook is farmed Atlantic, but as we’ve cooked more wild species we started to wonder if 125 was maybe a bit too high.

To find out, we bought multiples filets of the four most common species of wild Pacific salmon—king (also known as Chinook), sockeye, coho, and chum. We cooked samples of each to both 120 degrees and 125 degrees sous vide, or sealed in a plastic bag and cooked in a temperature-controlled water bath. We also did the same for samples of farmed Atlantic salmon. We then asked tasters, blind to the differences in internal temperature, to pick which sample had the best texture.
Everyone preferred the coho, sockeye, and chum samples cooked to 120 degrees and the farmed Atlantic cooked to 125 degrees. While a few folks preferred the king sample at 125 degrees, the majority preferred 120 degrees.
These results may sound surprising. After all, salmon is salmon right? Well, not exactly. It turns out that farmed Atlantic salmon differs in two important ways from the half dozen commercial wild varieties caught in the Pacific Ocean:
1. Due to their more sedentary life, the collagen protein in farmed Atlantic salmon contains less chemical cross-links than in wild varieties, which translates into softer flesh.
2. Farmed Atlantic salmon contains more fat than any wild variety and up to 4 times as much fat as the leanest species. Fat provides the perception of juiciness when cooked.
So, with naturally firmer flesh, and less fat to provide lubrication, wild salmon can have the texture of overcooked fish even at 125 degrees. By cooking wild salmon to just 120 degrees the muscle fibers contract less and stay moist and tender.

Also Farmed Salmon is pretty bad for you....they have to add dye to the feed so the flesh isn't gray....I'll take Wild any day of the week. Plus the Omega 3 are much higher in Wild.

There is no where in the world where it's legal to raise GMO salmon.
You can avoid GMO's if you want to but when you state that they are bad you have to justify it, care to share with us how do you know GMO's are bad or not?

The more I watch this channel the less I like it, I'm sick of the paid endorsements and unsubscribing. Why would anyone eat farmed over wild?? Farmed salmon have a higher fat content because they're fed processed high fat feed so they grow larger.

Salmon is the only food in the world that lets you know when it's cooked to perfection. When you see the white stuff coming out of from the flesh, that means it's cooked. That white stuff is just melted far from inside the fish. Cook salmon 5-10 minutes past that point, you're gonna have dry tough salmon. I'm not a chef, or a trained cook. I'm just a simple guy from Alaska who is enjoying catching, cooking, and eating salmon. Specially this summer when it's salmon season.

Mercury is NOT an issue in ANY salmon. Mercury is only an issue in long lived apex predator fish such as shark, swordfish, tuna, king mackeral, tilefish.

Sorry, I don't use fahrenheit, but isn't 120 degrees way under the temperature needed to properly cook fish/meat? To kill bacteria, you're meant to allow meat to reach an internal temperature of 73 degrees celsius. 120 fahrenheit equates to 48 degrees celsius, which is below the 'safe temperature'.
Wouldn't customers in a restaurant be concerned if their salmon was raw in the centre?

He missed a very important distinction between wild caught salmon and farmed Atlantic salmon. Wild salmon are, for the most part, healthier to eat. Farmed fish are fed a diet to make them grow faster and fatten them up for market. Usually not a natural diet they'd eat in the wild. Their pink color is artificially created. If you look at the 2 salmons side by side, the farmed fish are more of a peachy orange color, not pink at all. I wouldn't touch an Atlantic salmon with a 10 foot pole!

If you're making salmon that gets chalky you probably shouldn't be giving lessons on how to cook lol and I'll take that farmed salmon over that dry "wild caught" anyday. 2) Farming salmon requires antibiotics and pesticides to keep the concentrated fish from becoming sick

I am glad to hear that Pacific populations are in better shape than North Atlantic ones. I just made this, it is really good my only problem is cutting off on the salt. Use 1/4 teaspoon instead because it came out very salty! Other than that it is delicious!

I fixed it by getting a salt grinder. Now I count the grinds and salt/taste as I go. I can always grind a little more salt on there but I can't remove it.

Here are some of the most nutritious types of wild salmon to look for:
Sockeye Salmon – This type of salmon contains the most astaxanthin, cholesterol, and vitamin D because sockeyes keep a diet of almost exclusively plankton. They are tough to farm due to their unusual eating habits, so this type of salmon is almost always wild. Sockeye salmon is high in Omega-3s and has a strong flavor, so it is great smoked.
Chinook (King) Salmon – This type of salmon contains almost twice as many omega-3’s than any other salmon. They live in cold, deep water and the extra omega-3’s stay liquid in their system to keep them warm. King salmon are the largest salmon in the world and can grow to well over 100 pounds. They are very versatile from a cooking standpoint, but grilling, slow barbecuing or smoking are popular choices.
Pacific Coho Salmon – Coho has the third-highest fat content of salmon, along with a great amount of vitamin D and Omega-3s. It has a very delicate flavor, so some prefer to poach it to keep it moist, or use it for sushi. Wild salmon is worth every penny. There are so many cooking options, and buying it wild ensures that you are getting all of the amazing nutritious benefits it has to offer. Check out this super-simple way to season and cook your salmon.
People across the world are eating salmon in a ton of different ways — baking it, roasting it, grilling it, smoking it, and eating it raw — which is safe to do, if you are buying the right salmon. The flavor and fattiness of salmon, along with its nutrient content, depend on where it came from. If you have a taste for fish, you’ll want to make sure you are buying clean, healthy salmon, and not the farmed category.
The color is a great indication of whether or not you are buying real salmon. The color of a wild-caught salmon is a robust red, which is exactly what salmon should look like. The color of farmed salmon is very light and pale in color as if the fish was sick. Astaxanthin is a bright red molecule found in algae, plankton, and krill, and it gives salmon its color. This molecule is extremely beneficial to the human body. It is an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory, it improves blood flow, and it enhances mitochondrial energy production.

This bright red-orange color is a good indicator of wild-caught salmon. Farmed salmon will be a pale pink color.
Wild salmon get plenty of this molecule from their diets while farmed salmon eat food pellets that don’t contain natural astaxanthin, so farmers add in their own synthetic version, which is most commonly derived from coal. The fish feed used by farmers also includes fish meal and fish oils that are at risk of dioxin and mercury contamination. Some farmers have tried to replace fish meal with soy and corn protein and vegetable oil, but salmon are not meant to eat soy and corn, so meat quality decreases and antibiotics are needed to keep them healthy. Trace amounts of these antibiotics can make it into the food we eat while vegetable oils reduce Omega-3 fat content and can introduce mold toxins into salmon. You do not want to eat that!
The FDA and the EPA have been studying mercury contamination in fish, and wild-caught salmon is at a very low risk of mercury contamination. Fresh salmon is considered safe for pregnant women to eat. Farmed fish get traces of mercury simply by being raised in the ocean, but much less than wild salmon.
From Scientific American:
Farm-raised fish may have somewhat less exposure to mercury than their wild free-foraging cousins because they are usually fed a controlled diet, often consisting of more grains and soy, a cheaper and more abundant source of calories, than fishmeal. But they can still absorb mercury, since most fish farms are themselves located in the ocean, just close to or abutting the shoreline.

While you’re entitled to your opinion, it would be helpful to anyone reading this if they were provided some researched facts to support that opinion. Just one example; there is no research to support the statement that mercury is high in any salmon, farm-raised or wild-caught. I’ve got great respect for David’s work, but this article needs to be revised.
The color is a poor indicator these days of wild vs farmed. Producers are adding color to farmed salmon and often they are darker red/orange/pink than their wild counterpart. What’s worse, I’ve even seen producers add color to wild salmon…probably because of out-dated information in this article. They know people are looking mostly at flesh color as the main or sole indication of “health”.
The best thing to do is read the package for clear indication. If it says “farmed” or “Atlantic”, stay away. You will usually find this in low/mid quality restaurants.
Then there is “sustainably farmed” salmon as well. I would caution against this label as well since there are no defined standards. This is the type you will find in many high quality restaurants.
If it is truly wild caught, it will almost always say “wild caught”. If you’re unsure, consider the source you’re buying from and how likely they might be getting wild salmon. The further up the distribution chain the supplier is, in other words, closer to the fisherman, the more likely you’re getting wild caught.
The last indicator is price. If you’re buying directly from a commercial fisherman, you’d be hard pressed to find wild caught for under $20/lb. Wild caught salmon in the store will almost always be more expensive than that.

"Marrying the right man is our biggest dream," one young Chinese girl's song goes. But while the cars and houses are coming easily to China's successful women, marrying their dream man isn't. Despite a gender gap of 118 men for every 100 women, China's conservative dictum is that a woman should not be too independent and that over 28 she's labelled 'leftover'. It means that most successful women struggle to get a date and with a third of China's millionaires now female an increasing number of China's women are prioritising their work life. The result is "200 million singles in China and it keeps growing...", as Johnny Du, the CEO of one of China's top internet dating sites, explains. According to Johnny Du the women also set the bar too high. "Woman are really picky; they want the man to be very rich, young, handsome, educated...". Some parents have become so desperate they are taking details of their single children around "marriage markets". As the ambitions of the West meet the traditions of the East, it's a dangerous cultural hang-up that's causing a social time-bomb.

The problem isn't that men are 'afraid' of marrying a wealthy woman. That's a load of &*. Plenty of men out there would be happy to marry a millionaire and wouldn't feel insecure doing so.
The fact is that these women would never consider marrying 'down' that is, a man that earns less than she does, is not as successful as she is, because she'll regard him as a 'leech'. Even if he has a job. Fact is, what all these women want is someone who has even more wealth than they do. If they are millionaires they want a multimillionaire. If they are multi millionaires they want a billionaire. So stop whining, show some actual character. Nothing wrong with marrying a pizza delivery guy who has ambition if he treats them well socially.
Men have been marrying women with a lot less money than them for hundreds of years without this being seen as an 'embarassment'. Women keep banging on about women's rights and equality. How about men who are not as well off as these women being treated as equals because they are valuable as a person.
Until we see women, real women, all kinds of women marrying men and supporting them because they are more equipped to do so, without hesitation, the way men have been doing for years, women like these millionaires have no right to complain they can't find a man or keep putting the blame on men. So called female equality is a load of &%#@.

채 Most successful men....the last thing they want is to marry a millionaire. All those testosterone fights all day long with men then come home to the same thing? No thank you. It takes a certain amount of dedication and drive to become a Millionaire. Most of those qualities are not very famine ( OPRA) ( Mis Clinton). Not all self made millionaire women are impossible to deal with. Most are.
It is just not the same as when you meet each other and you both work hard to become successful.
Are we talking a US millionaire? If you are talking Chinese. Almost all my peers are far past that point.

It is a misrepresentation to say only in China strong women have a problem getting a loving partner. IT HAPPENS IN ALL CULTURES including the Western countries. High income women themselves in the West behave the same way, many expecting their less wealthy loving partners to foot the bills, just to follow the "tradition". Women are so used to the idea of men being the strong partner, they assume he should pay for all her expenses.
I have personally witnessed this weird behavior. and I've seen it with Chinese and Latino women, as well as US and Canadian.

Look, I've been living in China for 10 years now and I am happily married (to a not-so-rich woman). Before meeting my wife I dated a couple of these baifumei (white, rich and beautiful) girls, I would never do so again (if I wasn't married).
Chinese girls in general are fantastic, but those rich girls... talking about my exes and their other rich friends here, all of them (exes and their friends) are rotten spoiled bitches obsessed with appearances rather than substance.
I dated the first one and ended the relation myself, thought she was an exception, went on with my life and met the second one a few months after that, went on a few dates and I figured out she is as superficial and entitled as the first one.
The reason these women can't find a man despite looking damn fine, being educated and having so much money that they will never ask the guy to pay for anything is... they probably are entitled and spoiled as one can ever be.
Look in the mirror ladies, get some character, a good personality, be nice to people and stop acting like you are some sort of princesses or goddesses, then you will find a man who truly loves you and will cherish you for ever.

I think women generally want their man to be stronger, taller, and more successful than they are and refuse to settle for anyone whom they would consider to be beneath them. This is not a judgement on the behavior of women as this might be as natural to them as how men find youthful, large breasted women attractive. This could essentially be biological in nature and it is playing itself out today in the modern world of the "successful" woman as seen here.

It’s hard to imagine aircraft having ungainly square windows - but they once did.
It was not until late into the Fifties that the round or oval cabin windows we all know and love were introduced, and it was not merely for aesthetic reasons.
Kitted out with square windows, the de Havilland Comet was the world’s first commercial jetliner. First flown in 1949, it was set to revolutionise air travel for millions.

At first, the Hertfordshire-made aircraft lived up to the hype, carrying 30,000 passengers in its first year, including Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret, guests on a special flight in 1953, hosted by Sir Geoffrey and Lady de Havilland. Its engines allowed the Comet to fly higher than its competitors, above 30,000 feet, increasing speed by as much as 50 per cent as well as avoiding bad weather.
By summer 1953, eight Comets were leaving London each week, bound for Johannesburg, Tokyo, Singapore and Colombo. BOAC was a key customer, while Air India, Pan Am and Japan Air Lines were just a few of the raft of carriers to place orders.

But its windows were to be its downfall. Two fatal crashes in 1954 - Flight 781 from Rome and Flight 201, bound for Johannesburg - accounting for 56 lives, were found to be the result of structural weaknesses in the fuselage, caused by dangerous stresses at the corners of the square windows. The harsh angles meant that the surrounding metal experienced pressure two to three times greater than elsewhere in the cabin.
A number of inquiries into the crashes highlighted metal fatigue as a key cause of the fuselage breaking up, prompting de Havilland to modify the design of its later aircraft, introducing the stress-alleviating oval windows that we see today. The company also increased the thickness of the Comet's fuselage walls.

The Comet's popularity never recovered, however, with the high-profile crashes leading to the withdrawal of the aircraft from service for several years, as well as the cancellation of orders. Meanwhile, rival manufacturers heeded the lessons and stole a march on de Havilland.
Though numbers in the skies dwindled, the Comet is still regarded as one of the most adventurous aircraft in aviation history, paving the way for the likes of Boeing.

“I don’t think it is too much to say that the world changed from the moment the Comet’s wheels left the ground,” said Tony Fairbrother, an engineer on the maiden flight.
It was in 1997 that the last Comet, a later variation on the original, made its final flight. The only complete remaining Comet 1 is on display at RAF Museum Cosford. De Havilland ceased to be in 1964.

With this 24-hour glimpse of live data, we’re hoping to give you another way to think about the statistics and debates around guns in the United States. We explored the same issues and stories in our new “Guns in America” series. Watch all six parts of that series here.
For the live data, you’re watching an average day — rather, an averaged day — of guns in the U.S. This isn’t an actual day. Some days see higher numbers than this. Others are lower. But at the end of this day, you’ll see the average number of people injured and killed in a single 24-hour period in the U.S. And you’ll see just how many guns are manufactured and how many background checks are initiated in this country over the course of an average day.
Here’s what’s happening in this Facebook Live:
We took the latest available data for each of the categories:
People non-fatally injured
People killed
Guns manufactured
Background checks
Then, we figured out what those numbers would be for an average day by dividing the annual totals by 365 (or, in the case of background checks, by 366 because that figure is from a leap year).
We then divided that number by 24 to find the averages per hour, then by 60, and yet again by 60, to arrive at a pro-rated rate per second. And then we crunched some code and created a real-time visual for how these statistics would unfold over the course of 24 hours.
Here’s where we got our numbers:
The statistics on annual firearm fatalities and injuries are published by the CDC. In 2015, the CDC reported 36,252 fatalities from firearms. And in 2014, the most recent year for which the CDC has published figures, there were a reported 81,034 firearm-related, non-fatal injuries. You can dig deeper into these numbers here and here.
The number of firearms manufactured in the U.S. is tracked by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Our annual total — 9,358,661 units manufactured — corresponds to published data from 2015. That’s counting guns manufactured for consumers and the police, and not for military use. Here’s the original document.
What kinds of guns are we talking about here? Let’s break it down:

Finally, we’re including the number of background checks initiated on our counter. Why? This is one way to approximate, however roughly, how many times per day people signal their intent to purchase a gun. According to a recent study, most (but certainly not all) gun purchases in the U.S. take place following a background check. Meanwhile, note that in 2016, the FBI counted 27,538,673 background checks initiated across the country. That’s a little more than 75,242 background checks per day, taking into account that 2016 had 366 days.
To crunch these numbers and visualize it all over the course of one 24-hour period, we worked with Grafiti.

We’ll let you get your deeper analysis on guns in the U.S. elsewhere. But here’s one trend we found startling:
